The Agnes Jones Jackson Scholarship is one of several funding opportunities available to Black students through the NAACP’s Inspire Initiatives. We award scholarships to exceptional and qualified students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we strive to ensure equitable educational opportunities that prepare students for success in school, work, and life. The scholarship is named in honor of Agnes Jones Jackson, a long-time member of the NAACP from the San Francisco branch.
**Scholarship Requirements:**
- Must be a member of the NAACP. If you are not currently a member, please join today.
- Must be Black or African American.
- Must be under the age of 25 at the time of application submission.
- Must be enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S.
- Applicable to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate or graduate students.
- Must possess a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Must demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in any field of study.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must be a U.S. resident or citizen.
