The Dr. Eliza and Dr. Richard Grier Scholarship is one of many funding opportunities available to students through the NAACP's Inspire Initiatives. We offer scholarships to outstanding and qualified students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Through the generosity of our donors, we advance efforts to ensure equity in educational opportunities that prepare students for success in school, work, and life.

The Dr. Eliza and Dr. Richard Grier Scholarship is awarded in the spirit of moving forward and making a positive impact on the next generation.


**Scholarship Requirements: **


- Must be a member of the NAACP. If you are not currently a member, please join today.

- Must be enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S.

- Applicable to graduating high school seniors and undergraduate or graduate students.

- Must possess a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

- Must demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in any field of study.

- Must demonstrate financial need.

- Must be a U.S. resident or citizen.

- Finalists will have a virtual panel interview. 

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

· Be a resident and/or have a family history in Brooks, Colquitt, or Thomas Counties, Georgia.


This is a non-renewable scholarship opportunity.
